Lincoln

Mary Boster's descent from the Lincoln families who migrated from England to Massachusetts in the 1600's, as per Janis Heidenreich Miller (JHM):

One can be confident that this lineage is accurate back through the marriage of Jonathan Stearns (1701 - 1769) to Experience Lincoln (1705 - 1769); hence it is likely that MSB can claim some Lincolns as ancestors. However, earlier than that, the jump to the marriage of Thomas Lincoln,Jr and Mary Austin is much more uncertain. (The Mary Austin who was said to have married Thomas Lincoln Jr apparently died in 1694 while her supposed daughter, Experience Lincoln, was said to have been born in 1705).

According to JHM:

Edna T Robens 1883 - 1972 (Mother to Mary Shilts)

Edgar T Robens 1854 - 1935 (Married Rhoda Alexander 1855 - 1943)

Ibram C Robens 1821 - 1856 (Married Calestina Wilbor 1827 -1887)

Joseph Wilbor Jr 1759 - 1830 (Married Hannah Woodward 1767 - 1816?)

Joseph Wilbor Sr  1733 - 1803 (Married Mary Stearns 1736 -1796)

Jonathan Stearns  1701 - 1769 (Married Experience Lincoln 1705 - 1769)

Thomas Lincoln Jr 1637 - 1696? (Married Mary Austin 1663 - 1694)

Thomas Lincoln Sr

According to Geni:

Experience Lincoln 1705 - 1769

Samuel Lincoln, II 1664 - 1738 (Married Experience Briggs 1665 - 1763)

Samuel Lincoln      1637 - 1716? (Married Katherine Lincoln)

Thomas Lincoln     1603 - 1684 (Wife Unknown)

MSB's Lincoln ancestor was supposed to be Thomas Lincoln, born in Hingham, Norfolk, England in 1603. The equivalent ancestor of Abraham Lincoln was Samuel (The Weaver Mariner) Lincoln who was born in 1622 also in Hingham, Norfolk, England. It seems safe to say that our Lincoln lineage coincided with Abraham Lincoln's sometime in 1500's or earlier but it is uncertain when and where the lineages meet.

There were other famous Lincolns in US history (e.g., Benjamin Lincoln, a Major General in the Revolutionary War and the first US Secretary of War) whose ancestry also goes back to Hingham.
